This was fun hair and more hair. We had great hair to fix for this prom and a great time also. We had given each girl atless two hours so we could do our best for them. This is how it looked after we were done.

OK...........so you must know I'm no English Major as my daughter wishes I was but I do give her a lots of laughs. And seeing as I do have this Blog I must update once in a while. My daughter and I went to the Women of Faith Conference this past weekend. This was fun and I did a lot of soul searching. But we also worked to pay for our tickets. What an experience. lets just say I'm 55 and a very big complaint on anything that hurts. But I would not have traded places with anyone there, OK maybe Patsy Clairmont she had it all together and knows where to look when she needs help. Very Well done Patsy. :) And let me tell you the music was superior. We stayed on the Barksdale Air Force Base. Boy did we get lost there and its not that big, but the planes are, that is when you get real close.
My greatest and only son-in-law is in the Air Force, so, he can get us these great deals. I always have a great time when I am with my family this was special because Amanda just found out she in carrying my next grandchild. of course, I think she is having more than one but we shall see. Amanda has been on clomid for about 6 mounts and this is way and lot of med......we shall see. I don't think I will forget to keep in touch on this subject. go to her blog for more information on this wonderful event.

OK This is still very new to me but.............
Red seems to be the color of choice. In hair that is. The first time someone asked for red hair I laughted. I was all set to do that light blonde that just about everyone was wanting. This girl said her husband wanted her to be red. Well given the fact "I-know-everything". I thought she was kidding....NO WAY...... he's wanting his wife to be RED. I should leave this at a guess when this happen, but you won't answer so.... it was 1997.
Today this is the color alot more people like than blonde. Suprised? Not me. I have done a lot of very pretty reds. This is the color I want and so does Amanda (my daughter). Actally red covers gray better. We always have red in all formuals. Without red your can't have blonde. Scary isn't it? Not if you know color. Anyway, today this is the color almost everyone is wanting if not totally, they will ask for alittle red. It seems to put a little spice in all our clients.

I have just come from Awana Bible Quiz practice. those kids are awesome. You would not believe.........
32 verses in one week and they nail them. God is good. OH btw there is a Women of Faith Conference this March in Shreveport LA. Amanda (my daughter) , Ron (my son-in-law), and I will be working in one of the booths at the conference. We went last year and totally enjoyed it.

This is my new blog. I am a beautician and have been for 25 years.
I have two beautiful grandchildren (both boys)... yes... I am still waiting for my granddaughter!
Hair styles have changed so much in the last 25 years, but let's talk about fashion. How much of the body do you plan on showing?? That's my question. Where does it stop? My grandson will probably have to go to the prom naked when he is a senior in high school, just to be in style.
